Where It All Began
Hi, my name is Denise, and my journey to support children at a school in India began in January 2018, sparked by a series of remarkable coincidences during a visit to the country.
The school serves more than 600 of the poorest children in the region, yet it consistently achieves some of the highest exam results. I often call it "the miracle school."
It was founded over 20 years ago by two extraordinary women living in different parts of the world, united by one shared belief; that every child deserves an education. They began with nothing more than a small amount of holiday savings and an unwavering determination to help the most disadvantaged children. What they have accomplished since then is truly inspiring.
The Gift of Health
In January 2018, I joined their mission by launching a project called The Gift of Health.

Our journey continues to evolve as we work to support not only the children's education, but also their health and wellbeing.
Our Mission
We support a school in southern India that serves some of the region’s most disadvantaged children. Many come from families living in a nearby shanty settlement or on small subsistence farms. Their parents are typically day labourers or small-scale farmers, working tirelessly to provide for their families with very limited means.
We work in partnership with the French charity Sai Children, which oversees and delivers the school’s educational programme.
Our role is to provide the Gift of Health — ensuring that every child begins the day with a nutritious breakfast, and supplying essential items that make school life healthier, more comfortable, and more dignified.
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity of a brighter future. With the support of our donors and volunteers, we focus our efforts where the need is greatest — providing stability, care, and hope so these children can grow, learn, and build the future they deserve.
